Peek Garden

PASSIONATE ABOUT BOTANY

Nestled in the scenic Mornington Peninsula, Peek Garden stands as a beacon of expertise, specializing in cultivating advanced cacti and succulents.

At Peek Garden, we carefully curate a selection of exceptional plants sourced from our own nursery and others, offering varieties rarely found in traditional retail settings. Specializing in low-maintenance plants suitable for regions like the Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, and urban areas, our focus extends to plants that thrive with minimal watering.

Whether you’re envisioning a lush garden oasis or transforming a compact urban space, we can connect you with Melbourne’s top landscape designers and landscapers who share our passion for utilizing our unique plants. Our dedicated teams are also equipped to cater to smaller inner-city environments and balconies, ensuring every space can be adorned with stunning greenery.

In addition to our extraordinary plant selection, we provide an array of gift options, including a delightful range of cacti-themed jewellery, perfect for avid succulent enthusiasts.

Mark Cohen

With combined experience in the horticultural sectors of more than 40+ years, Mark has a wealth of specialist nursery-related knowledge. Mark established Living Sculptures to principally grow and supply plants to both landscape projects and retail nurseries situated on Australia’s eastern seaboard.

The plants grown are required to meet many criterias including but not limited to requiring little water and being architecturally different to those plants commonly available in the nursery sector.  Mark’s vision for future Australian gardens is one of drought tolerant native plants, punctuated by the uniquely grown Living Sculptures. With rainfall becoming less predictable and water increasing in value a range of plants are grown that once established require little maintenance including water.

Ilona Cohen

Passionate about botany, particularly cacti and succulents, I’m Ilona Cohen, with 5 years in horticulture. Guided by my father, Mark Cohen, a veteran of 40+ years in the industry, I absorbed invaluable wisdom from him. Working with him at Living Sculptures, I honed skills in propagation and sales. A stint in New Zealand broadened my knowledge in revegetation.

Now, back in Melbourne, we’ve joined forces to launch Peek Garden, offering a curated selection of stunning cacti and succulents online. Beyond their beauty, these plants offer practical benefits, thriving in our changing climate and reducing water consumption. Inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s words, we aim to foster appreciation for nature and its conservation.
